Very interesting read on the importance of viruses and bacteria. Even more important. Here is a quote.

"When we consider that marine viruses turn over 150 gigatons of carbon per year, more than 30 times the standing abundance of carbon within marine phytoplankton, one could easily say, the possibilities are endless."

Will be exploring Cyanobacteria in a new R2Rtv series with @Twillard so we gain a better understanding for this bacteria in our aquariums.
