1. The Coral Reef in Jefferson City. They are the retail outlet for Sustainable Aquatics. Friendly staff and a wide variety of fish, inverts, and corals at what seem to me to be really good prices.
2. Aquatic Marine in Knoxville on Clinton Highway. Very helpful staff.
3. The Aquarium on Papermill Rd in Knoxville.

These are the three stores I've used as I started my tank. The Coral Reef is closest to my house so is my goto store, but Aquatic Marine is worth the drive for a different selection of corals. The Aquarium has corals and inverts that the other two do not.

To be honest, you can skip some of the hype places, but you must go to The Apple Barn for vittles at some point. It's in Pigeon Forge between Gatlinburg and Knoxville. The store is awesome too.

Yes...the strip can be an assault on the senses, it's a lot to take in lol.

Enjoy your time in east Tn, it's a beautiful part of the country with no shortage of fun things to do!

The one place we love to go eat is at Doc’s 321 Cafe in Cosby. It is some place 99% of the people will drive right past.

Carver’s Orchard is another place we like to go for breakfast.

Mad Dog Doughnuts is another place we like.

Best Italian Pizza is our favorite place on the strip. Has never been crowded and good food.

we will check out the Apple Barn for sure.
