Visiting Orlando area, what LFS is a must?

Hey all,

Greetings from Austin TX.

We will be visiting the Orlando area on Memorial Day weekend and I’m interested in visiting the best LFS’s and possibly taking some gems back with me. I’m a stick head, but have a mixed reef.

WWC is my go to place. I live 2 hours away and make the drive every couple of months. The staff is top notch. If you are looking for something they don't have on display they try their best to find it.

WWC and TSA, and I'm in PA! HAHA, I'm so jealous of the LFS' in Orlando.

I grew up there and went to Fishy Business as a kid. It looks like it's still going and I'd love to know how Rich is doing.

Fishy Business is no longer doing any saltwater, and he has two other locations with in a mile of his. Building is still there though

WWC, LRO, and TSA are the biggest main stays in Orlando, Sea in the City is smaller and has a more standard "hometown" LFS feel.

It is just outside of Orlando, but Stormborn Reef usually has a great selection and prices just under the big Orlando shops.

I know the dates you will be visiting have come and go - I just wanted to say the World of Reef in Longwood is newer store (Aug 2018). We have often been complemented on our variety of colors and pricing. How healthy are fish are and how much we care about the animals. For us - the animals come first! We actually care for our animals and don't overstock our tanks. We might be a new store - but are not new to the hobby. Please stop on by
