Hi! has anyone experience using Vitamin C in order to builds up and strengthens the immune system of corals and also to prevent bacterial infections from spreading rapidly?

I use vitamin c bright well aquatics brand. It seems like less losses of new arrivals when using it vs. Not using. Not much else noticed. I just continue because it's not too expensive so why not. I did stop for several months simply due to forgetting to buy more, and had some unexplained losses during that time. Other wise I have very little losses so I'll keep using it. I don't have any crazy routine, I just dump some into the sump when I top off the ato.

FWIW, I'm not a big fan of vitamin C in reefs.

While some people report benefits beyond normal organic carbon dosing and alkalinity addition (it does both), there's no other clearly established benefit, IMO.

FWIW, it will drop ORP through the floor, so if you use ORP monitoring, keep that in mind.
