So I bought a big bottle of sodium ascorbate. I read the rc forum and reef geeks article on dosing...I currently have about 100 gallons with probably 75 water volume. I have been using the vitamin c tablets blindly (tisk tisk on me I know) dosing 2 1000 mg every day recently because I had a bunch of zoas not opening. It seems to be working but now changing to powder(doing the right way). My research has showed that it is similar to dosing carbon? My nitrates are 0 now. Can someone please offer experience with dosing vitamin c and how much and how regularly? Thanks so much for everyone's input. Btw there has def been a change since using the tablets where most zoas are now opening and colors, well can't tell that being a huge difference because I have LEDs and everything color wise always looks good.

adding anything you cant test for is risky. I wouldnt go by anyone elses numbers because every system is different. just start little by little until you feel comfortable adding a certain amount
the problem I see is if you ever stop dosing, STABILITY is the key to keeping a successful reef tank.

I dose brightwells Vitamin C every 2 weeks. I have about 100 gallons total. I dose 5ml. I have seen my zoas improve drastically, but I do not dose enough for it to considered carbon dosing.
