Unfortunately my vitamins didn’t come in on time so my angel passed..I know it wa vitamin deficiency by the way her colors was..anyway

I understand you can use selcon everyday

How do I use this Zoe Kent stuff????

And how much of this selcon do I use, also I figured it will be beneficial for my puffer he is recovering from a ammonia burn patch on his belly but it’s been healing very well everyday is a improvement

I remember there was a sticky thread talking about supplements but I can’t find it lol so for the pros out there and know everything on supplements please help

(Hoping humble or Paul sees this) you guys are all awesome!!! Or if you know the sticky I’m talking about please link it below!

If you are feeding your fish a quality, balanced diet …. and they are eating it …. highly unlikely IME that your problem tracks to a vitamin deficiency. Vitamin supplements are among the most persistent of boondoggles in this hobby. I have almost never used them.

Good evening,

A huge part of fish health as ca1ore mentioned is nutrition.i will say I fell both supplements you have are an affective additive to the feeding regiment. I do highly doubt a lack of vitamins caused the passing of the fish. Loss of color could be ,many things.

As far as use, a few drops of either in food is fine. I have a yellow tang that was always pale. I started Selcon and zoecon and now he is a deep rich yellow. I will say again like said, vitamins are not a substitute for a healthy diet. Black worms and freshly frozen claims are a great food along with foods like LRS.

What is your feeding schedule and food like? May just need some adjustments for the type of fish you are feeding.

Well I have LRS and none of my fish show any interest in it so I figured I can soak krill for my puffer cause that’s all he will eat nothing else

As well my trigger eats mysis and finely chopped silver sides(he’s just a juvenile) again figured a little supplement there will help too

Every one else in my tank eats a variety of brine, squid, fish eggs..I have brine on hand for finicky ones

I once tried the frozen blood worms none of my fish showed interest

So they like the cheap stuff that comes in a cube form I feed a variety foods they they enjoy..but I can’t get them to eat rods original blend,LRS or blood worms
