How many people use supplemental vitamins when feeding your fish? I currently feed half a cube of frozen mysis along with a half a cube of a carnivore "marine cuisine" blend. Should I be dosing with any sort of vitamin to promote health? Is it really worth it?

Thanks!

I was feeding pellets but my fish weren't the biggest fans...

Yea... I don't know how long you tried but most of my fish will accept them if appropriately sized and given enough time.

K, I thought pellets were inferior to frozen... Am I wrong?

Thanks

They just have different qualities. My personal opinion is that they are superior for many reasons.

The primary advantage of a pellet for vitamin/mineral delivery is that it has a low surface area to volume ratio. The result is more water soluble things are in the pellet when consumed.

I don't feed my fish much frozen foods anymore, about 80% to 100% is dry or flake every day. In fact the first thing I try to get new arrivals (fresh or salt) to eat is pellets because they work for real.
