Vivid Aquarium Confetti Acro

Mine is still very pink, probably because I have it at the top oh my rock work getting a high amount of light. Still encrusting

I had mine in 400 par and it turned pink. I moved it to 280 area so we shall see

I just grabbed a photo to update. Lights were starting to dim so it was mainly actinics on a lower setting.

Even pink it still looks so purdy. I don't know the par in my tank, maybe one day I'll get a par meter. I do however have it near a red planet that has a greenish base that goes to all red. Not sure what par does that to red planets. Helpful isn't it? Lol

If red planet has any green that means it's low par in the green areas

That's what I thought. Just the base where it's being shaded from the branches is green. Rest of it is a darker red. It's at mid tank now. I'll give it a little to see how it colors up and move accordingly. I have great PE coming from it. So it must be happy

450 PAR of LEDs. Pushing out a tiny nub on the underside where it's encrusting on the underside.

Like I said mine went completely pink under 400 par running ab+ on my radion gen 4. Vivid is saying 260-300 under there radions. Some lights like the radions put out more par then a par meter says sometimes.

Uh oh, heard Vivids display had some issues today and he lost a couple of colonies. I think most are okay and the confetti looked fine this afternoon according to Gig'em but that's terrible news.

Just to set things straight. Our 800 is rocking & rolling! It's funny how these rumors get started so I figured I'd nip this one in the bud. I've restarted the tank three times now over the years all because I wanted to frag out colonies & start fresh. Each time people started writing that it crashed.

I just wanted to mention to people who have a frag of your amazing confetti colony, that there perhaps was an issue in the DT as that is concerning to reefers that have interests in your stock and your store's well-being, like myself.

I'm not here to start rumors about your business. My buddy walked in today and described a different scene and that's what I passed along.

I'm glad it was just a refreshing of the display tank and not an issue with the tank. [emoji106]

How is everyone's confetti progressing? Mine has gained some blueish hues in it from just the bright pink it was. Loves a lot of flow. The PE is almost like a milli. Wish my life and death Millie would show it's happy like everything else

My Update:

Rainbow Explosion: Has started to gain color back with pink in the tips and the base body is starting to look more like my confetti.

Vivid Confetti: Maintaining the color I got directly from Vivid. Has continued to build its base.

Doing well so far. Managed to encrust a tad and one of the corallites on the underside is lengthening to become another growing tip.

Planning to move mine to the DT now that the frag plug is fully encrusted. I'm curious what it will look like under T5s as it has been under LEDs in the frag tank. I'd do an update picture but it pretty much looks the same, pink tips, green polyps and base. This is at about 250-300 par.

Fully encrusted! I plan to move it to the DT tomorrow and it will unfortunately have to adjust to full T5 lighting now. Curious what it'll look like after adjusting.
