Because people get all bent when you try to call a coral with completely different lineage (source and year of importation) by the same name... oh wait, but then people get all bent that you didn't call it the same name. Ya, anyways.... :doubt:

Here's my PB getting a VERY rare feeding....

I know, it has always been red up until I fragged it about a month ago. Now the mother colony and all the frags are turning bright pink. Don't know why and really don't matter, it's looking good right now. And yeah it's a vivid, I trade with them back in 08 at Max I believe...straight from the source

Low light = red

High light = pink

So does anyone have both the vivid and PB grown out next to each other, maybe even allowing them to touch?? I'd love to see this, and the results.

I had them both for awhile. Growing next to each other in my frag tank. They never got the chance to touch each other though. I wish they grew that fast. I ended up getting rid of the Vivid Echino because it was the smaller of the two.

When i say long enough, I literally mean a few months. That's it. Should of kept them both long term to grow them out together, but I got impatient and one of them had to go.
