I don't have a par meter to test with.. however: it grew under 2 radion G3 pro and 4-t5 54w .. and it's placed on the bottom of my 20" tall tank

Ok thanks. I think this is one of the most finicky corals have.

It is.... it won't color up until it is fully encrusted onto the rock .. but when it does---wow..
IMO: if you get a multi-branch frag (most people call it mini-colony) --the colors tend to stay.. but if you get a single or tiny frag, it will brown-out for awhile

Very nice. Mine is still small. It has red polyps, but is still a light tan color. How did you get it to color up to blue?

Absolutely beautiful! Mine has encrusted WAY out and grown a bit and is starting to sprout nubs on the base...I think I'm beginning to see some of the coloring coming in...not sure if that's my wishful thinking or reality yet. LOL Looking forward to it growing out!

They are different corals.........the Ultimates rainbow acro base color is purple and the branch skin is more green.

Vivids has white skinned branches and the base is basically brown.

These are in about the same level of growth and you can easily see the difference. The Vivids is less light demanding as you can see good colors and it's encrusting and growing off the floor of the tank. It will look good at any level.

The Ultimate is spectacular but needs more light to thrive, so it needs to be put higher in the tank.
