Maracyn 1 = Erythromycin (API Erythromycin works just as well). Treats gram positive bacterial infections.
Maracyn 2 = Minocycline. Treats gram negative.
These two work best together.
The only problem with Maracyn 1 & 2 is (I believe) they don't make the SW versions anymore. Which is a dang shame because the SW version contained "Vitamin B-Complex" which often served as an appetite stimulant and that would offset appetite suppression from the antibiotic itself.
Also, if it says on the package "FW only" you usually have to double the dosage for SW use (which gets expensive). I'm not really up to snuff on Maracyn 1 & 2 anymore ever since Fritz bought Mardel.
