I had been dosing NOPO-X for the past 3 months and 2 weeks ago when I finished up my last bottle I decided to switch over to Vodka.

I had been seeing ok results with the NOPO-X in keeping my Nitrates down, but it never really seemed to do a lot with Phosphates.

Again I am only on my 2nd week of dosing vodka(1.6ml on 75g of water in my system), but my Nitrates are up from .5 to 2 testing multiple times with a Pro Red Sea kit and my Phosphates have increased from .05 to .12-.13 testing multiple times with a Hanna PO4 Checker.

Is this normal? I have not added anything to my tank other than a few frags in the past month and have not increased(or decreased) my feeding. Bascially everything is the same just swithced out NOPO-X for Vodka.

Im thinking it's just a transition thing, just stay the corse and the vodka will catch up and do its thing.
