Vodka vs Vinegar vs DIY NOPOX

I'm currently on my 3rd week of dosing vodka to reduce nitrates in my tank, when I remember that I stumbled upon a couple of DIY NOPOX recipes that mix vodka, vinegar, and rodi water (sometimes). What are the benefits, if any, to dosing the DIY NOPOX vs the vodka I'm currently using?

Thanks! I'm just now seeing an increase in skimmer production, so I'll be checking nitrates soon, but if I can make a better solution for this, than I'd like to.

I'm also curious about pros and cons or one vs the others. Did you ever find anything out?

I prefer vinegar. In my system it gave less cyano and, in theory at least, it is used by a very wide range of organisms including corals.
