So I wanna try this vodka dozing method, do I have to use The microbacter7 with it, or can I do just vodka, and what are the possible cons of just vodka.

Many people have done it both ways. IMO using MB7 or any other bacterial source will help with a more diverse bacteria population. When I started down the vodka dosing path I initially just used vodka. You can use different carbon sources (sugar, vinegar) that will feed different types of bacteria also. I just found that using vodka with MB7 was the best combo for me as far as $ and results.
