volumatic pump for asthma

anyone ever seen these used in a skimmer application. I found this vid on utube and wondered if it had been replicated with any success. YouTube - skimmer made with volumatic asthma pump spacer

for smaller tanks they look like the **** if they can hold up to salt water.

never mind looked into it further and it seems that the skimmer is driven by a simple maxi jet or whatever and the volumatic spacing pump is just a fancy term for the piece of plastic used to make the body. had me fooled though there was a new way to aerate the SW like those ultra sonic guiness foamers.
