Just getting started in the clermont/Orlando area, would love to get to know some people locally to talk tanks with and once mine is up and running be able to get some coral and fish from
Instead of going to the big stores!

Lots of sticks :)

Hi. I just found this page. Located near Daytona. I had a 120 for 10 years and moved up to a 210 in October. I've been fighting nitrates and finally got them down to 15ppm. Steadily moving toward starting corals

Found this thread while looking for a local group before I move to Kissimmee at the end of the month. Been a few years since I had a tank running but been in the hobby for over 20yrs. Unfortunately will have some space limitations but excited to get some Pico’s and Nano’s up and running.

Bryan from Debary reporting in! Is anyone old-school enough around here to remember stormborn reefs?!? They are who got me into this many years ago! Wish they stuck around!

Oh thats great to hear! His wife, (Sarah IIRC) helped take care of my tank back in 2018 when I was in a nasty accident! Kept it stable and was able to upgrade into my nuvo20! Do they have a private farm still? I remember they had talked about doing that

Sarah is doing something different, Steve is home underwater gardening, lol, but stays private. He has several tanks, he is coming by soon for a nice piece of Greg Hiller's Aquamarine Jewel, old school favorite.

Just joined R2R after a 12 year break from the hobby. It seems RC is dead? I'm in New Smyrna now but was very involved in the Tampa Bay Reef Club for years. I took my last tank (mixed SPS dominant 240 cube) down in 2011. No clue if I'll build something new or look around for something used. I'm in no hurry...

Saying hello. Old 240, lost most pics due to old photobucket account LOL

Well tell them I said hi if you get a chance please! Also tell them I still have that real pretty "splatterish" frogspawn I bought all those years ago! One of my favorite pieces

Welcome back! Beautiful pic btw!

Thanks! I wish I had better pics. Not sure why some pics are still in photobucket but most are lost. I’ll have to attempt to dig through the RC to find my build thread. Not a huge deal but I’d like to see my plumbing underneath and frag tank.

If anyone is interested in a large colony of Bubblegum Digi, or Grafted Purple/Red plating Montipora, please reach out through PM.

I'm in Deltona, currently supporting a 180 gal. tank. Supporting local reefers and meeting new people is what makes this hobby great. Perry let me know what frags you have to sell if any.

Hey Harvey, neighbor!!!
Post above is what's on the rack, but my prop tank just installed 2 weeks ago. Probably best to see in person, classic acros, high end deepwater acros, some tenuis, some killer millis, currently growing around 40+ deepwater acros, as they are my personal favorite :)

hey y’all, fairly new here in the orlando area. not sure how often these frag meets happen but i’d be happy to participate

Perry I’ll take the millis. I usually travel out to Volusia County Courthouse, I’ll hit you up whenever I’m in the area to scoop them up. PM me the price, or I’ll pay whenever I stop by, since I’m sure you’ll have some more pieces
