The problem is once your tank starts to look like this how do you get flow to everything?

For that tank I’d do gyres on the sides and several mp40’s along the back wall. Maybe a pair of mp40’s on the sides too.

I think if my tank ever looks like that I'll happily upgrade my flow! Or, you could say that tanks like that likely don't happen without that extra flow.
