I have a mp10 on my 40g breeder, I am trying to set it where the water is rocking and creates good flow for my torch and duncan corals. The problem im having is that if i start to get the rocking movement then its blasting the corals to much i think. Is anyone really good with these types of pumps??

Yah or you can do a burst mode where it jolts from 1-10 and turns off then 1-10 then Turns off it will make waves but not a long enough time to break corals off.

There are a ton of modes on there, play around with something like reef crest or tidal swell where the pump does not spent too much time at 100%

Does it matter the placement of your rock work? You all can see the little dripples not waves haha

I have mine on the sides, rock work does count if the power head is hitting the rock then it will kill the flow plus cause choppy waves

I would try moving it to the front a little and up a little (but not too high where it will suck in air). What mode is it in and what % power?
