VorTech MP10 question????

Just interested to find out If the Ecotech Marine VorTech MP10WES can be put on a 10mm thick glass tank?

Im positive ive seen them on a 10mm glass tank before even though the stats state maximum thickness of 0.9mm.

Has anyone got one on a tank this thick and have you had any moving dramas or magnetic dramas?

Mine have fallen off before when they get hot, it happened twice in a month. The second time it scared the crap out of me so I posted the issue on a thread on ARC.
I got a solution (work around) to this problem from a bud on ARC. If you would like this info, PM me your email address. It's easier as he emailed it to me and I will forward.

Anyone else got any advice for me on this subject or has a Vortech MP10 on a 10mm tank and can offer some insight?
