I am thinking about upgrading to an MP10 for my 36 Bow (glass) mixed reef. While doing research on the product, I came across some posts about the "Pulse Mode" damaging/weakening the seal between the 90 degree silicone seals on the corners? Does anyone have knowledge about this being true? Or can someone who uses them on a glass aquarium comment on thier experience with the MP series? Thanks in advance!!

I would doubt if an MP10 has enough power to weaken any seal even in the long run. A LFS close to me uses a Tunze wave box on his 200 gallon rimless display and has for almost 20 years. If the tank was going to fail due to wave motion like that, it would have done so long ago.
Long winded answer to I wouldn't sweat it.

Mostly myth. There was some speculation a while back that generating a ‘wave’ could structurally damage a glass tank. I’ve never had, or heard of, this happening. Far more likely that a crappy stand or deflecting floor will destroy a tank. I’d not be concerned.

Much appreciated, I was leaning that way as well. My tank is small as well, so even with it just being the MP10, my settings would still be on the low end. I think I am going to pull the trigger and spend the extra cash to get a PH that has the extra settings. The ones I have now are steady flow only. Thanks for the input!

I used one of them for a while ..... loved it, and hated it! Worked really well but was an aesthetic monstrosity. I also used something, the name of which I no longer recall, that used a screw piston to generate a wave. That one was always getting jammed up.
