I just purchased new and received 2 mp40qd and 2 mp10qd. All but one connected to mobius with no issues, but the final mp10qd will not connect. The W light is on. I've tried the factory reset (), but it's not working. I hold the mode and set buttons, the lights flashes r/w/b, then I hold the mode button until the light flashes red/purple. Then I hold mode and option down, but it never resets, the light continues to flash red/purple. I've verified that all three buttons function normally, but this mp10qd never appears as available on the app to connect. Anyone have an idea?

Does it show up at all on Mobius? I had an issue with an MP60 that forced me to downgrade and reupdate firmware before connecting
Does not show up at all. If I could get it to reset, maybe it would, but the hard/soft reset isn’t working as I said.

Are you sure it is Mobius compatible. I have two MP10qd's and neither are compatible. I have had them several years. The radio board would need to be replaced on them to make them compatible but since I already have Reeflink I have not been interested in updating them.

Supposed to be. Brand new and sold as a set with the mp40s, supposed to all be setup for mobius. How can I confirm?

Without opening and checking the radio board I am not sure. Since it is new I don't think opening it is a good idea since it may void any warranty. Have you checked back where you purchased it to let them know you cannot get one of them to work?

I’ll call tomorrow, doesn’t appear they have weekend hours

Create a new tank it should appear
Just tried that, still not showing up.

I did just notice that the W light on this mp10 is white, where the W light on my two mp40s and other mp10 are blue. Does that indicate anything?

I am not sure I have one that is white and one that is blue. One of mine had a radio module when I got it used. The other didn't and I had to purchase one for it. I don't remember which is which though it was so long ago. The two I have were not originally qd models and were upgraded to qd.

To close this out, I talked to ecotech tech support, and they said I could open the back without voiding warranty. I did that, and the wifi module was installed with one row of the pins offset by one. I pulled it off and reseated correctly, and after two reboots, the mp10 came up correctly and the app could see it, updated it, and it's working great now!

Just so everyone knows for future reference if you happen to read this thread….opening a Ecotech powerhead case does not void the warranty. One advantage of this is when you want to cable manage your pumps and controllers without drilling a big hole in your stand for the controller, you can unplug the cable if you open the controller case.
