Did some spring cleaning in the fish closet and found these. Friendly reminder to all the party people...please routinely check your pumps. So many corals in heaven because of these ;Vomit

It's sad that we spend all this money on these pumps. You would think ecotech would try to solve this issue.

Four in the picture. I still have four running but rotate out wet sides around everything 2-3 mos and would thoroughly inspect magnet before and after vinegar baths.

Weird, I've been running mine 4 years with no issues. I wonder if those old style are more likely to fail than the QD wet sides? I have a set of each and switch them out. The new ones are so much quieter though I only leave the old style in long enough to clean the QD wet sides.
