Vortech MP40 placement and modes

For those of you with two MP40's on your tanks where do you place them and which modes have you liked the best?

about 6-8 inches down from the top opposite of each other on the sides. Reef Crest on anti sync. But I also run nutrient export mode and short pulse a lot as well. all at about 75%

Would you say that Reef Crest mode gives you the best random motion throughout the tank? I can't use NTM until I upgrade the master pump to a ES.

Its random flow for sure. And its the quietest mode.

Thanks for your input Dowtish. I've just been playing with mine and moving them slightly trying to find that right spot. Do you use the night mode?

I dont use the night mode. Sometimes I just turn down the flow to about 50%, but most of the time I just leave it.
