Vortech MP40 Placement

Hi everyone. I have a Red Sea Reefer 350 and doing research on powerheads. As I do not want to see any cords or equipment on the sides of my tank, I'm leaning toward the Vortech MP40 and placing the powerheads on the back glass of the tank. Does anyone see a problem if the flow goes from back to front, rather than side to side? Also, would I need more than one powerhead - one on each side of the center overflow box?

That’s totally cool - many do it this way. I might be inclined to go with a pair of MP10s instead (I think a pair of MP40s might be a tad much).
