I've been looking around but can't find anything on what the minimum glass thickness is for the MP40. Does anyone know if there is a minimum thickness?

I was thinking of using an old MP40 in my 20g tank but wasn't sure about the minimum thickness as I've only come across the maximum thickness.

It comes with spacer(s) if you need to build up the thickness. I believe you want anywhere from 1/2" to 3/4" between the two sides.

I MP40 I have is the 1st generation one so I'm not sure if those came with a spacer or not but I don't think I have one. I'll have to double check when I get home.

Not sure where to post this, hopefully someone picks it up. I have 2 MP40's on my 90g Reef tank. Some LPS, SPS, and Softies. I definitely don't ever run them at 100%. It would create a hurricane. I am curious if you guys have suggestions for percentages to run them at. Right now they alternate through the day on opposite sides of the tank. One does Constant 30% while the other does Reefcrest 35%. Too much flow, too little?

The MP40's come with 3 spaces. The largest one is for glass <.25" (6mm).

The newer dryside comes with swappable spacers and correct that the thickest ones are for 1/4" glass or less. The older drysides had an adjustable boot that you have to turn for the correct glass thickness.
