VorTech MP40 Questions

So I just switched to Gyre’s from Nero 5’s and I’m now thinking about going to VorTech MP40’s. My tank grow’s Coraline very fast and MP40’s look to be a world easier to clean.

I see many people selling them used but some have different letters after them ie MP40wQD and MP40WES I’ve think I’ve seen a few others. My goal would be to use the VorTech’s with the Mobius app - do the naming convention on the MP40’s have anything to do with them working on the Mobius app - I’m assuming it does?

I would suggest on trying to find one that was manufactured within the last year or so. That will be the easiest to set up with Mobius
