Looking for some advice on placement of my vortech pumps. I have 2 mp10's running on my 60 cube, one on reef crest at 55% and the other on anti-sync. Where is the best placement for the pumps? Should they be directly across from each other or staggered? I cant mount them on the back wall as I don't have the room behind the tank for the dry side. I use the wmx module to control them from my apex sound I am able switch modes if need be. Let me know what you guys think!

I've seen many successful tanks with them in many different locations. Depends on your setup.. bare bottom, sand? The goal is to eliminate dead spots.. I tried the back glass and it didn't work for me, so mine are staggered left/right. I'd love to have them on the back glass, but just didn't work for me..
If it was a traditional rectangular tank, I’d go directly across from each other. However in your case, with a cube, I’d prefer to go staggered, as you’ll have better flow to more areas of the tank. You’ll essentially achieve the gyre effect while still getting turbulence along the centerline of the tank. I’d run it in Reefcrest mode but sync’d instead of anti sync.
