these look asome the only concern i think i would have is that they put more stress on the sides of your tank ? im i right or wrong ? i have a 538 gal tank and would love to put these in here... please anyone with some info ... thxs.

I don't see how they would put extra stress on the sides besides if you had them oriented incorrectly and they were vibrating all day. I have two on my display, MP20s, and one on my frag tank, MP10, and I love them. Best thing you'll buy.

I struggled with power heads in the past, with the new EVOs spinning backwards and ending up being garbage, with wanting more flow, less flow, etc, all of which will cost you money when changing pumps. With these, you simply turn up or down. Very nice, highly recommended.

Wouldn't trade my 40's and have heard the 60 is a beast and supposed to be even quieter.

Great pumps!! I'm running two MP40s and two MP10s on my 180. I believe that Ecotech says something about greater wear on the tank by using them in the pulse modes because an actual wave will be splashing around in the tank, which is tough on the seams of the tank. Most people tend to use them in reefcrest mode which does not create a wave, but does create lots of random flow.
