Hi,Im think to buy vortech qd, are vortech mp 40 dead silence?

Nothing is dead silent but they are very quiet. There a lot of things on the tank that are noisier that these powerheads. I love them.

Agree. Night and day compared to the non-QD version.

As mentioned already, nothing is dead silent.
The ones I have had ( and still do) are very, very quiet.
