Will 2 MP10s be suitable for my 50 Gallon corner reef tank if im planning to do an SPS dominant reef? Since my tank is bow front i was going to put one on each corner.

Well couple reasons. I got an Apex controller and i know they would all communicate together wireless with the WXM Module. I also heard the vortechs were good at not blowing everything around but provides good flow.

so is it true? would 2 mp10s be right for sps?

Two mp10 will do you good. As long as you realize as frags grow into mini colonies you will need to move them around a bit so they don't block flow

should i so 2x Mp20s? or is that over kill? Set it to the lowest speed?

IMO one MP40 will be plenty for your 50 gallon, I run one in my 60 cube SPS dominant tank and it works great. There's nothing wrong with two MP10 they will also do the job. The only difference is that you will have to run your MP10s at almost max speed while your MP40 will only run about 60% speed, what's the big deal with this? Noise! Your MP40 will be almost silent at 60% while the MP10s will be a bit more noisy, not a big deal at all but if you want a reason to run one set up instead of another that's the only one I can think about.

Okay one Mp40 is what i will get. i just thought 2 units were better because the work with eachother while one is off the other is one so its going back and forth to create more of a wave effect. yah?

I have a tank very similar to yours with one mp40 in it and while the one mp40 works very well I have found that it seems like no matter where I put the mp40 there is always a dead spot in the back corner of the tank and have been thinking about buying a mp10 to stick back there for some more flow. However your rockscape covers that corner and my layout is more opened so you may not have that issue. I think one mp40 would be enough flow for you.

Actually i do have the same issue as you and because of my rocks covering the back, I cant tell if the flow is actually circulating back there.
