Wireless refers to the ability of the pumps to communicate without a hard line connection. They can talk to each other to create varying currents, waves, etc.

Onlything wireless is linking multibles together, one would be the master and the rest slave pumps from the masters signal, if that makes any sence lol.. I'm sure someone else will chime in and explain a lil better! Gl

They wirelessly talk with each other. One tells the others what to do (master to slave)

That would explain why all the picture say wireless but I can plainly see wires. So if you just get the regular ES model you have to connect them via hardwire in order to communicate with each other. There is a big difference in "W" and non-"W" I will have to see what is needed for the wire setup ti justiify the price.
