Hello everyone!
I am attempting to set up a Vortech MP40 and an MP10 on Short Pulse Mode in order to get a gentle back and forth motion in the tank. I previously just had them on constant flow, but everything I have been reading has said a back and forth motion or even random flow would be best. I have LPS, Nems, Zoas, and Euphyllia. Everything has been doing great but I would like more natural flow.
The MP40 is set on the right side of a 57g tank, and the MP10 is set on the left. They are directly across from each other near the top of the tank. The issue I’m having is they both pulse up at the same time, so I feel like that is causing the flow run into each other in the middle, rather than flowing from one side of the tank to the other. Can anybody tell me if I am incorrect in this, or if there is a setting I potentially missed? Or if anybody can recommend a different setting?
Thank you in advance!
