Vortech sync question

Yeap, what PedroYoung said. Also, in my case, my pulse mode give me over 5" water wave and splashing water out of the tank if I run it at 100% in my 6' tank. On the other hand, I need close to 100% in some other modes to get the entire tank water moving. So I program mine accordingly.

Do you have the 40's or 60's on a 6ft tank? Also, are mounted on the sides or back glass? And how many?

Just trying to get an idea for placement when my tank is good to go.

Well they are all set up and running. It took about 5 minutes to connect them to the wxm and about an hour to program. Thanks all for the advice and screen shots. Much appreciated

The battery backup is on back order but it's purchased so once it's shipped I can get that going. It's kind of my main reason for this project

Battery backup saved my tank during a move. Had to leave my tank in my dad's hands for a few weeks and the Apex went haywire and was turning on and off for 5 mins at a time. Battery would kick in every 5 mins and keep the pumps running even though the return shut down.

Hi all. I'm thinking of switching to vortech. I have a question for those using 2 in master/slave setup.
Some RF communicating pumps don't sync perfectly, meaning when both are set to pulse simultaneously, one might be a fraction of a second off and eventually they will be completely out of sync. Has anyone noticed this with the vortech pumps?

Hi I saw your post just today. Do you still have that problem?? I have this problem too. I have 4 vortech (two on each side of the aquarium) and they are synced/anti synced and I have exactly the same problem as you.
Do you know why is this happening? Or how to solve it?? I am a little bit dissatisfacted with these products (Reeflink and Vortech).
I also have problems configuring the Radions and nobody in Ecotech has helped me with that problem.

I have put 2 MP 10 Wqd on my red sea 170. Both devices say device 1 and won't let me change to say Left or Right on them any which way I have tried. I have the top pump saying sync to device one for 24 hours a day but one pump driver is showing the color of the current setting of dark purple for the NTM cycle and other driver is light blue.
I have tried to over ride the dang things so that the top pump showing sync to device 1 is removed and it won't allow me to do the 4 settings like I have on other device but slightly different schedule. I have constant 10% for 10p to 8a and when trying to program the one that was sync, it will put in constant for x hours and hit save. than try to add short pulse for 2 hours but it makes it 15 hours and won't let me no matter what change the timing.
I am like others, ready to throw them out as using reeflink is not working in doing anything but frustating the hell out of me.
I have had to re program the radian light using the cord to go from computer to light and than re program using reeflink as the reeflink has messed it all up multiple times.

anyone else with ways to get the pumps to say left or right and get them to both actually sync would be great as I am about to say the hell with the over 1100 bucks.
