Who has a guard on their vortech ? Just pulled my Squam off it he didn’t make it.. I know people with Nems use them but what about fish? I’ve had the pump on for over a year no problem

Freak accidents do happen but you should rule out the possibility that maybe it died first then got sucked in?

I have a nero 5 and I put the guard up after a goby got stuck in it.. even tho my nem never moved

My Nero 5 killed three fish and I heard so many other stories of the Nero killing fish

Not sure about before but i think now all nero 5s include a guard in the packaging, probably for this reason...

He was alive they chase the pieces of nori when I feed it and I think he just got to close he was alive for a while but died soon after

Which vortech? They come with a foam sleeve, and there are aftermarket nozzle covers.

Mp40... I was wondering if restricting flow would cause any problems
