Vortex Diatom filter

i have wanted one of these for awhile and I ordered one from the site yesterday. I did so despite the fact that the company has been unresponsive to emails and phone calls for the past week. I figure if i never get the filter, I can dispute the charge on my card. Is this lack of service normal, or have they gone out of business or something?

I’ve called multiple times per day for 2 weeks. When I log in the ‘status’ of my order is accepted. If it doesn’t ship by next week, I’ll dispute the charge with my bank.

It essentially is a one man show. I tried the same a couple of years ago. Took about 3 weeks to get a response. Probably a side business for them. Best bet would be to find a retailer online that has in stock and purchase from there. No real cost savings getting it directly from manufacturer.

I had the same experience with Artfully Acrylic when ordering a Clear View lid. It was worth the lack of communication though. Hopefully this will be a similar experience.
