Hey everyone. I've never posted any pics of my tank anywhere so I figured it was about time. Sorry for crappy quality but all I have is a borrowed point and shoot so alot of the stuff looks washed out. Oh well. Enjoy.:)

Nice Frankie. I see a couple that look familiar ;)
hehe. Prolly gonna see a couple more soon. I'm gonna try to get some nicer pics up later. I was playing with iphoto on my mac last night and was able to get the pictures to look more representative of what the corals really look like.

Very nice!! It makes me want to get rid of my RBTA's in my Solana and make room for some more SPS. Have you modded or added anything in overflow?

Haven't done too much modifying. Though I did gut everything from the chambers to make room for a deltec mce600, a pair of float switches for an ATO, a temp probe, and a heater. The tank is from a raffle I won a couple years ago at nano-reef.com. Some of the members here might remember that. As far as doseing is concerned cal alk and mag are done with seachem reef builder, reef advantage calcium, and magnesium. I also perform weekly water changes with seachem reef salt. I also add MB7 after every water change. I used to have a lot of algae on my sand and after the MB7 it has almost completely disappeared. I don't know if this is what made it go away but since my sand has gone from brown to white I don't think I'll be stopping anytime soon. I also like to add amino acids every once in a while for the corals and the fish are fed with a mix of flakes, pellets, and mysis. That's enough for now. I'll post some more pictures soon as well as a list of live stock. :)

Very nice Frankie. Maybe I will need to trim that one up for you as well

Very Nice! It is always nice to see another solana. What type of protein skimmer are you using and what if any filter mods have you done?
Joe

Hey Joe! Put the gun down! j/k. If you read post #13 you can see everything that I've done to the tank. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my tank. Not quite as well done as yours, but give me some time and a steadier job and I'll be right there with you.
