bull reef supply, marine depot and others are running Black Friday specials right now. With 10-30% off on some products. I am looking to buy a skimmer and skimz algae reactor.

According to your past experiences, should I wait for Black Friday or buy now?

I’ve noticed items on bulkreefsupply have already sold out and not sure if and when they will get these items in stock again and offer these prices.

not only will they not go lower, but once they're sold out they're gone as far as the sale is concerned.

If it's already on sale buy now. If your wanting to buy something that's not currently on sale, I would wait a few more days.

So I went ahead and purchased what I needed that was on sale, just waiting for the Apex controller to go on sale

Tip: BRS told me that the items I bought weeks ago can be sales priced matched if you email them the order number. I'd buy it now then if it goes on sale in a few days, ask for a sales price match.

Total guess here but I’d say the big names with the MAP pricing will hold out till the end (or close to it) before going on sale.

If the thing you're looking for has a special sale now, just get it. Otherwise wait.

Big names are already on sale like Reef Octopus, Skimz, etc.

Im telling you just listen to me. No reason to.hold out because you can always get a refund back if it does go on sale... this is all assuming, you're gonna buy said item anyway soon.

I spent around $1500 already on all sale items, waiting for the Apex controller to go on sale. Any specific Apex do-dads I need to get for the triton method ok a mixed reef tank.

This.

I wanted a varios 6 and they went from 30 in stock last night when I went to bed to out of stock when I woke up this morning. So I grabbed a varios 4 right before they went out of stock this afternoon, BRS customer service told me they might get more Varios 6s by the end of the sale, if they do I’m going to buy one and return the 4, if not I’ll just keep the 4. Moral of the story is if stock is getting low on what you want just buy it, they don’t do rain checks.

I bought my skimz sm167 on sale a few months ago and saved $40 at $359 and felt good about that. They are $319 so if I were you I’d buy now. I just realized that things I wanted were running out and missed a few things I wished I’d bought. If I think I’m gonna need it Im buying it from now on

It’s on sale now. 10% off. Bought mine at 12:30 am when I got off work tonight. Happy reef dance
