My tank is somewhat freshly cycled. I have a few corals in there right now but it will be about a week until i can get a fish to put in there. Do i need to do anything to make sure my bacteria colony doesn't die off until i can grab a fish? Thanks for the help

couple spritzes of windex on the tank surface would do it

could pee in it

or go to a supermarket and get some ammonia.

pick your poison

You can ghost feed your tank. Throw a grocery store bought, small shrimp in there to keep the ammonia going.
Just not alot.

Perfect. I will do that then. I really appreciate it. Would a small shrimp or a chunk of frozen mysis cube be better?

Yea, that would work just fine, maybe just a bit of the cube, you don't need the whole thing.
