walking maxima clam

thought id share this hilarious story, so ive had my maxima clam for about 2 weeks now and its been doing great where i placed it. last week the clam started moving around a little bit. I thought to myself eh.. its normal so i left it. as the week went on this clam would move inches every day and at one point was moving significant distances pretty quickly. Somehow it made its way into a shaded portion of the tank so i stuck my hand in there in an attempt to move it and what do you know... the foot of the clam is stuck onto the shell of one of my nassarius snails. with that being said how do i separate the foot from the snail?

Should be able to cut the threads with a razor or scissors. Just make sure not to cut the actual foot

You can use a razor blade and cut the threads as close to the snail shell as you can.
