Hey everyone,

Know receive always makes these posts about help.

Have a wall Hammer slowly reciding tissue from the cut down. Have had this in my system for about a month and a half. Noticed it slowly pull back from where the cut was made a few weeks after getting it.

Thought it was from flow so I spun it in the opposite direction of the flow and moved it closer to the rock. This week its starting to pick up steam on how fast it's starting to die back.

Parameters are stable and nothing else is showing stress. Could it be something like infection from where the cut was placed? Even the rest of hammer is fluffy and happy looking.

Any treatment or dips anyone can recommend? I don't have a band saw so I don't feel comfortable cutting it with anything I have. Although I would consider ordering one to try and save this, and have for future needs.

I attached two pics I've this morning. The other from 13 days ago, the older isn't direct as I didn't mean to take a pic of the hammer directly but you can see how there is little tissue loss.

Wow spelling... sorry everyone Receding* phone did not like that word apparently lol

Any recommendations? Ended up doing a dip with seachem dip, and STN stop, seemed like right slow but still receding.

Been seeing people speaking of treating with antibiotics. I do have amoxicillin and Doxycycline which I do have on hand.

Any thoughts?
