So I picked this up from an LFS - when I was initially eyeballing it in the store it looked to me to maybe be a branching hammer that's starting to divide? But once I got it home and got a good look at the skeleton maybe it's a wall?

It's fine either way, I'm mostly just curious at this point....

Forgive the poor image quality, lights aren't on yet, wanted to make sure the skeleton was visible.

Makes sense, I have never seen one keep a euphillya healthy for long in a stock tank. Do you know what light intensity it will be under? Do you plan to target feed?

yes, and I do.

I’m reasonably familiar with branching hammers and other euphylia. Assuming these take similar parameters??

I would say so. Please post an update in 2 weeks if you can remember or PM me, I'm interested to know what causes tissue recession in euphillya. I know what I did to my tank but that isn't something anyone else is doing and now they are slowly on the mend. I wonder what the common scenarios are that are causing this and if I pinpoint one or 2 common themes. How was the coral kept at the LFS?

the lighting in this particular LFS isn’t the best. Most of the coral looks healthy however. This was cheap enough for a “rainbow” or “gold” hammer to let me take the risk to try and make it something nice.
