Hey guys, I got this coral for free , not in good shape at all but what’s the likelihood that it will grow back ?

I wouldnt toss it. If your tank is healtjy just watcj it.. my bet is itll come back... but can you take a pic witjout thr blue radioactive lights so we can actually see it lol.

It seems to be slightly expanded not much , I’m surprised it’s still alive

I'd just let it be although with wall hammers, IME, once they start to go they generally don't recover. Wall hammers (ancora) are generally harder to keep than branching hammers (parancora). Hope it pulls through for you.

I couldn’t see any polyps a few weeks ago and now I’m seeing a little polyp movement so I’ll leave it alone and see

Really ? That’s good to know , should I try to feed it or just let it absorb stuff from the water ?

If you want to save it,

Make sure sure your tank parameters are stable.
Feed some aminos beside it so the current brings it over.
WWC uses amino acids to help bring back corals.

Thank you I will definitely check this out , I’ve been broadcasting reef roids and oyster feast

It's possible but there's a lot of algae growth too. Only time will tell.

yes only time will tell if it will come back or it was shocked so bad it will de-solve... however from your pic it has a lot of flesh on it ... it will come back...
