Hello,

I bought this frogspawn thinking it was the typical branching variety. As it’s grown the polyp just seems to get bigger. The thing is, it’s still very round/oval, like a huge branching polyp. Maybe wall frogspawns have this growth form?

Also, any feedback on my flow is appreciated. I’ve been playing with the gyre endlessly. It seems too low to me (was having trouble with direct

flow) but the torches and spawn are expanding much better. I’m taking that as a sign it’s not too low lol

Edit, did not mean to insert photos into the body of my post... ugh

Some branching varieties have really thick branches :) especially if they were collected in the wild. I had an aussie frogspawn with a base around 2.5" in diameter.

I think that’s what I have. A wild Aussie, it shaped like a branch, just huge, maybe a 3 inch head.

Update: Four months later, it has grown I think, but still an (even more) enormous single head. I’m starting to think it’s not branching, but it sure looks like it was cut from a branch [emoji23]

8 month update.

She must be a wall? [emoji23]

It looks like wall frogspawn to me. Typically you'll see branching with that much growth.
That’s what I’m thinking now too. Cool to see it doing well. That color seems hard to get now. At least I haven’t seen many around here.
