Here's the major workings of my tank. It took me 4-5 months to finish this darn stand, but I am really happy with the results. Have the front doors on order, just waiting for them to come in. In the meantime I plumbed my system and leak tested in the garage (pardon the mess). Also just siliconed in the baffles for the sump, not the prettiest job, but the baffles are in there firmly and there are no leaks. I've also decided to have plumb my skimmer externally. It will sit to the left of the sump and be fed by an eheim pump. I'll have a water sensor in the bin surrounding it that will shut off the eheim if theres a leak (hopefully).

As you can see my stand is extended to the right of the tank. This is to leave room for a small QT if I decide to do that.

the plan is skimmer (external) -> drain section with live rock -> refug -> return

Little bit of insurance because I'm a little scared of running the skimmer externally.

Just set up my Rodi water maker and mixing station.

Fingers crossed will get the stand/tank wet in the next 2 weeks.
