Made this from some 1/4" acrylic tubing I found online, some 3 gallon water containers from Walmart and murlock fittings with a threaded end, (that I harvested from and old reverse osmosis unit). Really, the only work involved is drilling the threaded sides of the murlock fittings to accommodate a 1/4" line... Then using a step bit to drill the hole in the bottles. The interior hard line was installed diagonally because the bottoms of the bottles have a very convenient recess in order to sit on top of another bottle. The bottom 2 bottles have a connected T fitting to make 1, 6 galling container for alkalinity dosing. The total cost was $24 for 4 bottles and $6 for the hardline 1/4" acrylic tubing. Can you imagine that! $30 for a stacked dosing tower with 12 gallons of liquid storage. It looks possibly factory made. Enjoy!

Very inventive and practical:)

Very cool!

How stable is it when for instance the bottom bottle is empty and the upper bottles still are full?
And how do you plan on refilling them?

The only thing I would add is a removable fitting where you can pour in new solution, say at the top corner where the exit tubing is. That way you don't have to take apart the whole tower to refill.

It's very stable... part of the plan was to put the 2 connected bottles on the bottom, so as not to experience that condition very often. The bottles are no connected and the lid remains usable. No need for additional holes. The lids need to be slightly loose to allow incoming air.
