Agreed. No offense. But a larger frag went for 350 on here. You can find it. Also a much larger frag of MattV and also only 550 compared to your recent sales. Not saying you aren't fair by some market standards, but GLWS.

Regards to MattV, prices fluctuate. All of mine have sold and have been 1/2 - 1" and prices have been 500-650.

Same with HW. Mine went for 700 for 3/4-1". So you can hunt for deals or can make offers on mine, doesn't bother me either way. But when I see 1/2 frags of MattV Orange Envy sell for 450 I'm pretty sure the extra 100-150 for Rainbow Envy is well justified.

I usually mark things up a bit high because everyone wants to negotiate and I'm always open for counter offers trades.

Everyone @Russo757 personally apologized and I replied that all was good. I didn't think anything he said was incorrect. It's merely all opinion based on recent history here on the forum.

I think one thing we can all agree on is that we wish we had his corals or the disposable income for them lol.

There's a lot of truth here and your post was very well put together. An apology on my behalf is warranted as well, and I apologize for not PMing and allowing my "traditional customer bias" to impinge on what you're doing @Russo757. There's a lot to be said for health let alone color etc.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I could have named the piece something other than mini Colony, but fully encrusted 1" plug with multiple branches just didn't have that "ring" to it.

No harm, no foul.

And if my Rep is in question at all after this thread just ask anyone who has purchased from or traded with me and their response should change your tune.

I will say that I do take pride in my corals, their color and the work I do to get them there so my prices will reflect that. If someone is looking for an uncolored nub to add to their collection I'm just not your guy. But I am always open for negotiations and trades and try to bring some trustworthiness and professionalism back to a hobby that I see severely lacks both.

So if anyone is ever interested in a piece that I post in the future and not the price, shoot me a message and let's see if we can work something out.

So people can't voice an opinion? The only bashing and name calling is your post. To the OP, nice coral! You obviously have a gift in this hobby and all your frags I've seen on this forum are top notch. I don't think you were stained or tarnished at all. People can have opinions.

Your a victim of mob mentality. I have to admit I thought the same thing at first. And than I read all the comments and thought this is just wrong. I really almost wrote a comment myself. I thought how I feel when people get back to me and tell me I charge to much. I wish they could see all the differences in person. And than say I'm to exspensive. It'd be nice if they just didn't get back to me. Or the ones I like the most, they kindly let me know they chose someone else.

This stuff does ruin potential sales.

To each his own. I think name calling is crossing the line. Opinions can sting sometimes but it is what it is. When I have a customer telling me on my job that I'm overpriced I simply say you get what you pay for and move on. Doesn't bother me one bit. The OP can stand on his own I'm sure. Wow. Just saw this post. Glad everyone cleared it all up. Ryan is a great dude and has incredible coral quality/health.

If anyone saw this mini colony in person you'd laugh this all away. It's incredible! I have several pieces of WD and I'm still contemplating picking this one up! So..... there may be some smaller frags available soon lol
