Guys I bought this WDT about 6 months ago arrived brown and looking sorry for its self but its taking a very long time to colour up or even grow in size ( stayed the same size till this day ) now I know they are a slow grower but I would of thought I would see some change by now all parameters are in check and stable..

Ph 8.2
Alk 9.0 - 9.2
Cal 440
Mag 1360

Honestly the only thing I can recommend, at least for the frag I got, is that it likes lots of light. I know that is vague, and mostly true for all sps, but I’ve tossed some serious light at mine and it liked it.

Sorry, but you should have know this question was going to be asked, lol, but how old is the tank? I would definitely start by raising your N03 and P04. I have it my tank with 15 N03 and .08 P04 and it grew pretty quickly. I have it in par that is at 280.

Thats fine mate lol, the tank is nearly 3 years old. Its strange because all my other sps are thriving big PE and branching out its just this WD thats not doing anything... i have my blues at 100% and whites at 60% and its getting around the same par as yours

Are you running just leds or a hybrid? I've just got 2 reef led 90s

If other SPS in the tank is thriving then that's a good start. I would get your N03 and P04 up to start.

Oh, and I run a hybrid.

Thats my aim, I've turned skimmer off and reactor off and also stopped dosing nopox was only dosing 1ml a day.. so I should aim for around 15ppm no3 and 0.08ppm po4 ?

For my tank it worked. I would hate to say yes and it not work, but with N03 and P04 at 0, I would raise it up to at least detectable levels.

N03 and P04 have a relation to the amount of par you give to your SPS corals. The higher the par the more food they need. I was also mistaken, my WD is actually in 300 par, I just looked up my par map that I did.

I've got 2 mp40 both running 40% any higher I have a sand storm lol
On my 120 gal tank, I have a Grye 350 at 30 percent, a MP40 on RC at 85 percent and a MP10 on RC at 80 percent.

Hybrid.

My tank is 60x36x24 so I run four hydra26hds, and then two blue+, and two actinic bulbs.

My WD is sitting in par around 300-325 depending. So right in line with others I suppose.

Like @DaneGer21 , I am also running a hybrid. I am using a Aquatic Life 36 in fixture with 2 XR15 G4 pros on the AB+ schedule.

May be I should look into getting a hybrid system on my reefer 250.. I'm hoping its just the no3 and po4 that needs raising.. the WD is about 8" from the surface and the light unit is 8.5" above the surface

I would start with the N03 and P04, whether it works or not, it will prevent other issues creeping up on you. I would also look into borrowing or renting a par meter to see what your light is putting out. :)

My wd is at 350 par with lots of flow. Nitrate @20ppm, phos @.10. I grew it about half a year ago from a small frag.

I would definitely raise your nitrate and phosphate. What other type of sps do you have? Any other tenius that is thriving?

Not a good pic but here’s my growth from frag to current.
