Walt Disney?

This was sold to me as WD, and it is been a month and I havent seen any traces of WD colors on it. Parameters are on point except the 20ppm nitrates. Is this piece really a WD or I was tricked? Lol

You might need to wait longer to tell since it's too small at the point. Also colors depend quite a lot on your water and lighting.

I have had mine for months and its not did much. Be patient. I here once they take off, it will grow well.

So unless you get a cut of Walt Disney from the color area it takes a while for some of the colors to come in and it's mainly a blue light only Coral anyway. I've had 4 of them now three before my tank crash and I just got a new one from cornbred. Out of the first 3 the one from Big R was all green at first the one from cornbred already had the pink and blue but was a little nub that had encrusted and the one from a local reefer looked like Big R's but bigger and had a little more color. Give it a couple months it should start to show colors and make sure it's getting good light that Coral likes the light

My piece doesn’t look anything like yours and I paid a lot for the one I have. Luckily mine had been super easy and has never lost its colors.

The piece in the first post looks right. In reality, it is mostly a brownish-green tenius with purple tips. Under just Royal Blue LEDs or photoshop, then it gets to looking like what you saw. Do you have any way to illuminate it under just Blue LEDs?

This one needs trick lighting to look how you want it to look.

It's Acropora tenuis, as is the one you're asking about. I won't go into overhyped corals, but yes it's the same species that the coral named Walt Disney is.

@1stNoel lol sorry I couldn’t resist doing that. But, yours is definitely not far off that’s for sure. Maybe if you turn your lights down lol it will be like mine. He has never liked bright lights
