Do fish count? I put an ich ravaged dead (i thought) hepatus in the toilet where it convulsed vigorously. I thought at least it should die in the tank so back in went and healed into a perfect fish eventually going to the university aquarium in Liege when I took down that aquarium.

@strawberryfish pubaha thats not 'fresh' water... ammonia levels probably would break the test kit.

Not a full comeback yet, but my candy cane started growing flesh on the skeleton! Hoping it keeps ballooning up!

The saving grace was that the temp was ambient. All the plumbing gets soft water. Not flushing helped too.
