Hello folks,
I'm new to the board. Just reading thru some of the material I decide to join up as I'm planning to build a new reef aquarium for my family in the very near future. Back in college I had a 30g freshwater setup that I loved, but never ventured into saltwater. My 2yo daughter has discovered Nemo and Dori, so I finally convinced my wife to let me build a reef tank to hopefully have some clowns and maybe a blue tang depending on size. More questions than answers about how to do that, I'll post something on all that later.

For now, just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I live in SE Alabama. There are no local saltwater fish stores, just a Petco and Petsmart. I've come to discover that this new tank will have to be constructed via internet ordering of everything. Hoping that is possible...

Anyway, look forward to digging into the hobby and getting started with a tank purchase.
